The Seven-Year Itch

After packing off wife and son for the summer, a middle-aged publisher (Tom Ewell) lets his imagination run wild, fantasizing about erstwhile ladyloves -- and his curvaceous new neighbor (Marilyn Monroe). Inviting her over for a drink, he plans to sweep her off her feet. This film entered the ranks of pop culture when Marilyn stepped on a subway grating wearing a billowy white skirt.
