Volunteer Benefits

  • As a volunteer, you are part of a one-of-a-kind institution that promotes education, discovery, entertainment and the investigation and celebration of America's wine, food and the arts in the heart of the wine country.
  • Volunteers enjoy the many opportunities for acquiring new skills through visiting and resident chefs, gardeners, wine experts, artists, lecturers and performers.
  • Volunteers are invited to previews of new exhibitions throughout the year and continuous training is provided on all aspects of COPIA.
  • Volunteers are part of the COPIA family and a service team of new friends!

What are the Requirements?

COPIA welcomes candidates of diverse backgrounds, ages and experiences to become part of our team.

The following is required of all volunteers:

  1. must be 21 years of age or older,
  2. participate in a short interview,
  3. complete our Volunteer training program,
  4. commit to volunteering 8 hours a month for one year.
