Grapes indigenous to Spain- - -Grown into Wines in the USA- - -Informative Seminars, Featuring a Walk-around Winetasting Take the “Spanish Trail” to Copia for the most extensive tasting of American produced Iberian grape varietals ever offered. This “Fiesta Primera” includes the increasingly popular Tempranillo, Albariño, Garnacha, Graciano, Mourvedre, the Tourigas, Verdejo and don’t forget Bastardo! These domestic delights from Arizona, California, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and beyond range from crisp, refreshing whites through big, full bodied reds to elegant varietally correct ports. Join Senior Wine Educator Kevin Toomajian in COPIA's Wine Descriptor Gardens for a guided tasting of fresh, fun and fabulous summer wines from around the globe. The wines will be paired with a complementary tasting plate.

Crisp and elegant, with good acidity, food-friendly Sauvignon Blanc brings out the best in summer dishes, making even exotic or unusual flavors shine. It pairs well with cheeses, salads and fish - even sushi. We’ll sample three sassy and sophisticated Sauvignon Blancs from France, California, and New Zealand with a complementary tasting plate.

Talk, demonstration and hands-on activity
You're the winemaker in this hands-on workshop! Our professional staff will advise as you select varietals for your own custom blend. Pop in a cork and add a personalized label, and you'll take home wonderful memories - as well as a one-of-a-kind bottle of wine! Reservations required 24 hours in advance.
