(Wine Program) Spring Wine Festival Start: 1:00 pm End: 4:00 pm Walk-around winetasting with food When was the last time you paired a distinctive Spanish Rioja with a delicious Spanish Manchego cheese? Or sampled a prosciutto di parma with a lively Italian Pinot Grigio? Join us for the Spring Wine Festival, and mix and match newly released red and white wines from California and around the worldwith the delectable cheeses, breads and meats that complement them. We’ll showcase fine wines from Australia, Austria, Germany, Italy, New Zealand and the U.S. along with local and imported artisan foods . Meet winemakers, vintners, and distributors, including David Strada of the New Zealand Winegrowers Association and renowned Austrian winemakers Fritz Wieninger, Andreas Liegenfeld and Franz Weninger. Admission: $30 general/$20 member (Concert) Community Spotlight Concert: Cool Rebirth Start: 8:00 pm Cool Rebirth recreates the music of the legendary Birth of the Cool band led by Miles Davis and Gerry Mulligan—and adds to the legacy with original compositions and arrangements. The core musicians are joined by special guest drummer Bill Moody, author of Shades of Blue, a mystery novel woven around the original 1950 band.
